We arrived in Trondheim first thing in the morning. We took a taxi to the nearby hotel…it was snowy and, while the distance was easily walkable we weren’t interested in slogging through the snow to get to the hotel.
We were quite
early so couldn’t get into the room. We
spent much of the day in a lounge working on our computers. At noon a massive number of people showed up,
ate from the buffet and then left. It
was a conference and it turned out the hotel was not serving lunch to anyone except the
conference attendees. So we took a walk
to a nearby hotel for a nice lunch.
We were in our room by midafternoon. It is small but adequate as we are only here for one night. The hotel restaurant was open for dinner so we ate in the hotel.
